Got to admit that this one is another personal favorite of mine, with two seasons of 12 episodes each and even an OAV of 5 episodes, that will simply make you beg for more.

Plot Summary: Okajima Rokuro is a Japanese businessman…in a town full of Japanese businessmen. His normal day consists of social drinking with clients and being kicked around by his bosses. He finally gets a break though, as he’s sent by his company to the tropical seas of Eastern China to deliver a disc…only his boat gets hijacked by a band of mercenaries that were hired to steal it. “Rock” (as he is newly dubbed by his captors) catches the interest of the only female merc “Revy” as she thinks he’s worth a ransom, taking him hostage. However, the disc turns out to be more trouble than its worth, and complicates things both for Rock, and the mercenaries known as Black Lagoon. (taken from anime news network)

Great story, great character´s, dark humor, messed up philosophies and nonstop gun action make Black Lagoon a truly wonderful experience. To boost even more the experience, the awesome animation and soundtrack will please the viewer in all his senses and beyond.  The only con that comes to my head is the facts that are so many things left without answer which will let your curiosity in starvation.

Overall one of the best out there, with insane amounts of action, intelligent dialogues and amazing character´s. It´s simply a must see for everyone that likes anime and even those who don´t.

This the second of three Castlevania games for the Gba and it’s also an action adventure game with some rpg elements like the previous game.

In this game the main hero and a friend go to Dracula´s old castle in order to save their friend that was kidnapped by evil forces. The gameplay is like the previous game with better graphics, an inferior soundtrack and inferior magic system.

This time you can customize your whip but in terms of magic spells there are less than the previous game and they are unleashed by combining books and your sub weapon.

Despite being inferior to the first game, in my opinion,  it´s still a great game being one of the best for the Gba.

Try it and you won´t regret it.

Generator Gawl

Today i bring to you generator gawl, which is an action, sci-fi anime with some intense fighting and some funny moments.

With 12 episodes this serie will show you some good berserk moments that will keep the viewer satisfied.

Plot Summary: Ryo, Gawl and Koji are 3 young boys who travel back into the past with only 1 objective: change history. In their time they discover that their country, Kubere, uses genetically enhanced persons called generators as a military tool. These generators are the cause for the Third War wich kills most of the human population. Now Koji, Ryo and Gawl are there to change all the events. (taken from anime news network)

The story is interesting enough, but it had potential for more and some questions remain to be answered by the end of the show which is a pity.

The animation is good and the soundtrack does it job satisfying the viewers senses.

My favorite thing about this anime is that you can really feel the rage that’s present in the fights which makes them quite interesting.

Overall it´s a good anime, that despite its flaws still delivers some memorable and epic moments. I recommend this one to everyone that like´s to see some raging fights.

This was one the launching titles for the Gba and my first game for the system being one of my favorites.

It’s a action adventure game with some rpg elements that make for an amazing experience.

Like other castlevania games Dracula is back and it´s your job to send him back to hell, in order to do that you have a whip as the main weapon plus some magic and sub weapons like holy water, dagger, axes etc.

While you go around the castle killing enemies you will gain experience and new items that you can equip in order to make you stronger.

The magic spells are unlocked by collecting cards that belong to two types, action and attribute, that the depending how you combine them different effects occur.

The graphics are quite good with a good variety of scenarios and enemies that are very well designed. Also the sound track is just amazing bringing the game experience to a even higher level.

Overall it’s a great game with awesome graphics, soundtrack, gameplay and memorable boss fights. It´s game that everyone must play or try at least, do it and you won´t regret it.

Today i bring you a great anime where survival and power means just about everything. It´s a pity that it only has 11 episodes but at the least it´s content does it´s job to captivate the viewer.

Plot Summary: Thor and his twin brother, Rai, are cast off to a forsaken planet by unknown masked men after witnessing the suspicious death of their parents. Given only a beam knife and a smelly satchel, they wander together in search of civilization on the primarily plant based world. They soon discover the plants have the advantage. Only the strong survive; the ones who throw away their humanity and become the beasts humans once were.(taken from anime news network).

With a solid and interesting  story, good sountrack and a well done animation the show is well worth the viewers time since it trully offers a good time.

It´s quite amusing seeing the main char climbing to the top while facing various dilemmas and perils.

I really like this show, spent quite a good time looking for it´s episodes but the search was well worth.

I recomment this one to any anime fan specially those who like survival theme animes.

Advance Wars

This one of the best games in the Gameboy Advance library, packed with loads of fun.
It´s  turn-based strategy game with simple mechanics that without warning turn the game very addictive.
You take control of  a CO (commanding officer) which possess both cons and pros, command a army of units wich also have their strenghts and weaknesses and simply lead them to victory.
The game offers a good variety of COs and units that are sure to adapt to the players style of play.
Both graphics and sound are very good making the gameplay even more pleasing.
This game also has a multiplayer where you can face up to 4 adversaries where the most skilled will win.
Its without doubt a fun, impressive and addctive game that you must try.
This game spawned a lot of sequels that i will talk about later.
One of my personal favorite games for the Gameboy Advance plus the story is quite nice.

Gungrave (videogame)

Gungrave is a shooter based on the anime serie with the same name. While the anime is awesome, the game is mediocre but at least it´s entertaining.
The gameplay is simple, shoot everything in the screen something that the bad camera and controls don´t allow that well, which can be fustrating and tedious. You also have access to some special moves you can unlock by collecting points along the story.
The game follows the anime story with some alterations which overall are well done.
In terms of graphics the game takes a cel-shade approach which is one the game strongest points that unfortunately are few.   Another strong point is the soundtrack that tries to give the feeling of action and epicness with sucess. The game is also very short and can be finished in a couple of hours....

To sum it up, Gungrave is a short, repetitive and mediocre game that doesn´t make justice to the great anime that is based on. Still it´s a fun game that its worth a try at least.  I recommend it to the anime and shooters fans .

Gungrave is one my favorite animes because it simply has all it needs to be great ,with story, characters, drama and action  all ready to hook the viewer.
With 26 episodes this anime will amaze and make the viewers beg for more.

Plot Summary:

Brandon Heat, a silent and passive man, is living a laid back life with his friends. He's got his eyes on Maria, but her uncle forbids their relationship. After the brutal murder of his friends and Maria's father, Brandon is on the run together with the only friend he has left—Harry McDowell. When he finds out custody over Maria has been taken by Millennion, the largest mafia syndicate in town, he and Harry decide to join the syndicate. He goes through many hardships after joining the syndicate but he is willing to risk everything as long as he can be close to Maria.(taken from anime news network)

The story is very well done with some good plot twists and with characters that are extremely interesting and entertaining. With a well done animation and good sountrack the show will satisfy the viewer senses.

Overall this anime is sure to make an impression on the viwer making it memorable.

I recomend this one to everyone that likes action, good story, drama, mafia and simply anyone that likes anime.

Somehow this anime reminds me of two things, climbing to the top is hard and demands sacrafices and the higher you get the harder the fall.

Monster is one of those animes that focus not in action but in exceptional story and plot. With 74 episodes full of twists and turns will simply leave the viewer waiting for more.

Plot Summary: Kenzou Tenma, a Japanese brain surgeon in Germany, had it all: incredible skill at his work, a rich and beautiful fiancee, and a promising career at his hospital. However, after becoming disenchanted by hospital politics, he chose to save the life of a young boy who got shot in the head over the life of the mayor. As a result he lost the support of the hospital director, as well as his position in the hospital and his fiance. A short time later, the hospital director and the doctors that replaced him were murdered, and once again he was catapulted back onto the top. But as the chief suspect of the murders, Tenma did not get a easy life. As a matter of fact, it seems that the boy he saved was much more than he had appeared to be... Now to clear his name and to correct his past mistake, Tenma must get to the bottom of these and other murders, and investigate the truth of the Monster who is behind all of this.(taken from anime news network)

This anime is not for all,  the slow pace, it takes may discourage some viewers to view the whole serie.

In my opinion it´s time well spent because the story is so amazing that it deserves a Hollywood conversion.  The animation and soundtrack aren´t the best but still good enough to appeal to the viewers senses. I recommend this one to everyone that is looking for an amazing story and plot, filled with twists and turn that will blow your mind.

This was one of my first Dreamcast games and to this day is one of my favorite games of all time and one of the best for the Dreamcast. This is a fighting game with some similarities to the super smash brothers games.

Its wild and dynamic with no stop action where up to 4 players fight for dominance. Collect 3 power stones and you will see your characters transform in his super form unleashing all kind of super moves. During fights itens of all sorts will pop out ready to be used to conquer victory. You can even create itens by using itens you collect during adventure mode and let me tell there are lots and lots of them to created.
With simple and addictive gameplay this game is fun in cd form and if you have friends to play even better.
I recommend to all fighting fans, dreamcast and psp onwners.
This game was re-released with some extras for the Sony Playstation portable system with some extras and with the title of Power Stone Collection.
Try it you won´t regret it coz its simple one of the best there is 2play.

note: Still waiting for Capcom to make the sequel.

This is a machinima fan serie created by Lowbrown Studios.
This a comedy parody show where sonic is a washed up loser with no job and will do anything to get some cash.
This serie is quite funny with good jokes, nice voice acting and well done edition. In this show you will see lots of video game characters such as Mario Luigi Kirby and even Darth Vader from the Star Wars movies (duhh).

The episodes are fairly short but very entertaining wich is nice for those who dont have much time.
I recommend this one to anyone that is a sonic fan or videogames in general.
Well done Lowbrown Studios for the awesome job and keep the good work.

This is a fan made parody of the extremely popular anime DragonBall Z.
Got to say this is show is trullly funny and well made, Team Four Stars did an awesome job when they come up with this show.
DragonBall Z Abridged follows the same story of the original DragonBall with new voice acting, scenes and editing wich brings to you a well done parody.
The voice acting and editing are amazing and impressive, with jokes that will make you laugh like a madman.
Congratulations Team Four Stars for creating this remarkable show.
Entertaining, fun and interesting i highly recomend it for all the original DragonBall Z fans.

Today i bring you Vandal Hearts 2 wich is one of my favorite tatical rpg´s. I even prefer this one to the great Final Fantasy Tatics for the same system.
The story is very good involving themes like politics, love, war and religion. It also offers alternative endings depending on the decisions you make while playing the game. The characters are interesting and memorable in my opinion.
In terms of gameplay lots and lots of items with lots of spells and skills at your disposal.  The game play is a bit different from traditional tatic rpg because when you move one of your characters the enemy will also move one theirs, there´s no enemy or player turn.

The game offers you good graphic with well done animations and the soundtrack is quite good giving you the feeling of being epic.

This game is another gem in the PSX library being one of my favorite games of all time. I recomend this game to all rpg players and to everyone that wanna try a good one. Give it a go and you won`t regret it.

With 16 episode this one will suck you up like a black hole with no chance to escape until it ends.

At the beginning you will get confused but episode after episode all starts to make sense and MOTHER OF GOD IS AMAZING!!! The Story is godlike, the animation is plain amazing, the characters fantastic, and a solid sountrack to backup everything.
This one i recomend to everyone even to those that dont like anime.
Simply put one of the best of the best dont waste time and watch it right now.

Today i bring you an amazing game for the original PSX one i consider a true gem in the PSX game library.

Its an arcade stylish action shoot’em up game with with simple an addictive game mechanics. You jump, dash, set bombs and detonate to blow stuff up!
It kind of remends me of bomberman just way better.
The story is nice, the characters are well designed and interesting as the enemies as well. The sound does it job well, but most of the time you will only hear explosions and more explosions.
The game as also has a two player mode but is kind of weak being more like a bonus. The game also has some customization, you can improve the main character while collecting stuff like chips and different types of bombs.
I recomend this game for everyone looking for a game with a nice story characaters and super fast paced action with addictive gameplay. Try it and you wont regret it! Get ready to be hooked!
One warning the last boss is hard as hell.

Today i bring to you Excel Saga wich is simply one of the most whacky and funniest animes out there. Its a parody anime with 26 episodes, filled with insane situtions that will get you laughing like a mad man.

Plot Summary: Hyperactive Excel does anything and everything to try to please her lord, Ilpalazzo, who wants to take over the planet. Excel's misadventures takes her and her partner, the ever-dying Hyatt, all over the world, meeting several strange people as they go. Everything is bizarre and goofy, as any kind of anime or entertainment genre gets mocked and spoofed.(taken from anime news network)

Nothing is safe from being mocked in this show, Dragon Ball, Power Rangers, Alien etc. The animation is nice with a sound track that enhances  the funny moments and trust  me there are lots of them. 

I recomend this one to everyone that is looking for something extremely funny and offcourse toeveryone that likes a good parady.
