Castlevania Aria Of Sorrow

Castlevania Aria of Sorrow
Released for the Nintendo Gameboy Advance in 2003.

This third and last game of the castlevania series for the Gba.
In my opinion it´s one of the best Gba available for the system and the best of the three games.
The story follows the same Dracula theme, where this time Dracula is dead but there´s someone trying to inherit his powers. With that our hero is caught in the event and it´s his job to stop it and save his friend which was also caught in this perilous event.
It follows the same type of gameplay as the previous games being a action adventure game with Rpg elements. In terms of customization the game suffered a great update since your main weapon is not limited to the traditional whip of the series, enabling the player the player to choose their weapon of choice for example sword, spear, knife, axe etc.
The magic system has now a soul system that when you defeat an enemy you have a chance to capture his soul and each soul unlocks a skill. The game has lots of different enemies, so it has a huge number of skills to unlock and use, which allow the player to adapt his own play style quite well.
The graphics are pretty good and the sound track does it job in setting the mood for the player.

Overall a truly amazing and fun game which everyone should try at least.

Streets of Rage 2

Streets of Rage 2
Released for the Sega Genesis in 1992

Streets of Rage 2 for the sega genesis is probably one of my favorite games of all time. It´s a side scroller beat them up, with amazing graphics, for its time, awesome soundtrack and cool characters. The story is quite basic, a criminal syndicate is back on town and kidnapped a friend of the main chars. It’s up to our heroes to save their friend and stop the syndicate.
In this game can choose one of four characters each one with their prons and cons and each one with two special moves. If that isn’t enough you can also pick knifes, bottles, pipes, swords and use them against the enemies.
It’s a simple game that you can play with another friend and it´s bound to give the player some fun time.
Overall a classic game that everyone should try and will enjoy.

Note: this is one of three games available for the genesis and will talk about the other two in a near future.

Guilty Crown

Guilty Crown
Studio - Production I.G

Well today I bring to you the latest anime I have seen Guilty Crown.
It´s a 22 episode sci-fi action anime, with some romance, superpowers and mech action.

Plot Summary: Japan gave up its independence in order to avoid total collapse after the outbreak of an alien virus. 10 years later Japan is still a dependent nation under a not-so-friendly provisional government called GHQ. At the same time a boy named Shu has lost his past and himself. By chance Shu comes in contact with the beautiful and stoic Inori and the resourceful and charismatic Gai, both members of a militant resistance group called Funeral Parlor. Through his interaction with the members of Funeral Parlor and his acquisition of a genetically based power, the conflicted and withdrawn Shu slowly learns how to connect with others and reclaim himself. When the GHQ falls into the hands of a man who intends to use the virus to 'reset' earth's population, Shu and Funeral Parlor fight to stop him and reclaim Japan. (taken from anime news network)

Well it isn´t one of the best stories out there but still a pretty good one that most will enjoy. In my opinion the strongest points in this anime it´s the soundtrack and animation, both done extremely well to the point of being superb.
The characters, while some are interesting many of them are underdeveloped and even a bit anoying.
The action is very well done also creating some good moments and memories.

Overall it´s not one of the best but still a very good one that it´s sure to leave its mark on the viewer and I do recommend it to everyone looking for a good anime experience.

Well don´t waste any more time  and go to http://www.animeshippuuden.com/watch/guilty-crown/ you won´t regret it.

Tier 1

Note: really like the animation and sountrack.
