Today i bring you one of the most funny animes ever created. Ouran High Shcool Host Club is a love comedy anime that is sure to put everyone with a smile in their faces. With 26 episodes get ready to laugh your heart out.

Plot Summary: Haruhi is a poor tomboyish student at a school for the ultra-wealthy, able to attend because of a scholarship, and unable to even afford a uniform. One day, she stumbles across the decidedly peculiar but very popular Ouran Host Club. She tries to leave, but accidentally breaks a vase, and unable to pay for it, she's told that she'll have to stay and do odd jobs. That is, until they decide she would be more valuable as a club member. Not realizing she's female due to her appearance, they fix her up and give her a male uniform. She's an instant hit, so they decide to have her keep up the charade even after they find out the truth. Haruhi, being average almost to a fault, doesn't know what to make of the unconventional activities of the Host Club (or of the even more unconventional members), but having little choice, she plays along. The animation is great as is the sound track, the characters are quite complex and well designed with very well done dialogs. The setting along with well written dialogs and interesting characters make an explosive cocktail of fun.

It has its drama moments but nevertheless they keep the show fresh and create a good balance between comedy and drama.

 

In my opinion its a must see for everyone that is craving for some laughs and overall good moment.

This game is simply awesome, it´s a side-scrolling beat´em up with RPG elements. The player is able to choose from 5 different characters, each one with their own attacks and magics. The graphics for the time where plain amazing and the soundtrack just gives the sense of epic. The Story is wonderful that depending on the players choice it will give different paths and different endings. Plus the game offer great multiplayer options that are sure to entertain everyone.

Overall great story, gameplay and soundtrack make this game a insta classic and  a must get.

Despite having one of the lamest titles i have ever seen in an anime, this one sure packed some surprises. The Legend of the Legendary Heroes is the typical medieval type anime for those who love magic and sword fights.
It has 24 episodes that are sure to entertain you.

Plot Summary: Ryner Lute is a lazy student of the Roland Empire Royal Magician's School. One day, the Roland Empire goes to war against a neighboring country Estabul, and Ryner loses his classmates in the battle. After the war, at Emperor Sion Astarl's command, Ryner sets out on a journey to find the relics of a "Legendary Hero". During his quest, he finds out that a deadly curse is spreading across the continent.(taken from anime news network)

This anime was quite a suprise, it was able to deliver a good mix of action, comedy, drama and mystery. The animation is quite good specially the action parts and the soundtrack does help in making some moments epic. Both story and characters are well done and manage to make the viewer interested. It´s a shame that all raised questions aren't answered, but i m almost certain that season 2 will make everything clear.

Overall its not one the best animes around but its still a pretty good one that is sure to entertain.

Nervous from Masaomi's stories, Mikado witnesses an urban legend on his first day in the city, the Headless Rider astride a black motorcycle. It has a slow start but has time goes on this anime won´t let the viewer go away. The characters are interesting, each one with a well done back ground story. In terms of animation it´s quite good, nothing much to say. The soundtrack is awesome, i like specially the first opening theme.

Overall a great anime, even if it´s not as good as Baccano! it´s still a great one, that anime lovers should see. It has action comedy and a good story. A must see in my opnion.

There’s nothing much to say about to say about this game, it’s a simply one of the best 2D fighting games ever created and one of my personal favorite fighting games of all time. Even today I still play it coz it’s that good.

Basically you chose three characters of a wide list of Marvel and Capcom characters and simply beat the hell out of the opposing three man team. As you fight you gain points and with those points you unlock more characters and man there´s a lot of characters to unlock.

Great graphics, great soundtrack, great number of characters and a massive number of moves/combos and special attacks you can use.

Simply put if you like fighting games this one is a must play for all Marvel and Capcom fans.

Persona 4 is a spin-off of the shin megami tensei series and based on the video game with the same name Persona 4. The game and shin megami tensei series both belong to Atlus . A sci-fi mystery combined with the daily life’s of the main characters. They have super powers but not the kind where you get stronger the more you scream.  With 25 episodes and one yet to come,  it’s a great anime.

Plot summary:

The anime takes place in a rural town of Inaba the main character Narukami Yuu is a transfer student who arrives at the town before a murder takes place. He hears of a rumor of a channel in tv that appears at midnight called midnight TV, it appears when you watch the tv alone on rainy days. In that channel he sees the next victims of the murderer. He then finds out he can go inside the TV to go to another world.  There he gains the power of his persona witch is a mirror of his personality. As the story goes forward he and his friends try to find the murderer and save the people that appear on midnight TV. Half focused on the murders and half on the daily lives and social interactions of the characters. The soundtrack his perfect in my opinion but everyone will have to judge that by themselves.

Today i decided to bring you one of my favorite animes of all time, Welcome to N.H.K. which has 24 episodes ready to blow your mind.

Plot Summary:

Satou Tatsuhiro, a 22 year old young man, is a NEET (Not in Employment, Education, or Training) and a hikikomori (meaning acute social withdrawal). He believes everything around him is a conspiracy, including the reason why many people, himself included, become hikikomori. Due to this, Satou creates a strange conspiracy theory which includes the Nihon Hikikomori Kyōkai (NHK), a secret organization with the intention of producing a hikikomori filled world. Satou intends to break free from the NHK's clutches, but cannot, since he finds it too frightening to go outdoors by himself; that is, until he meets Misaki Nakahara, who selects Satou for her "project" that she claims will cure him of his hikikomori ways.

Tatsuhiro Satou, a 22 year old young man, is a NEET (Not in Employment, Education, or Training) and a shut-in. Its an anime that tackles some of the problems that are present on our current society. Problems like video game adiction, schemes/scams, solitude and so on. Despite all the serious themes it talks about, there is still room for some comedy ready to make you laugh.

Welcome to N.H.K. has beautiful animation and one of the best soundtracks that i know, its simply well placed and ready to enhance the experience that it is watching this anime.

Its simply a must see  to everyone, a master piece at all levels.

Today i bring you Time Splitters Future Perfect which is a First Person Shooter. Its one of my favorite shooters of all times and the third game of the series.
The story is simple yet funny and interesting, you travel trough time in order to save a chaotic future that is the brink of destruction thanks to beasts called Time Splitters.
The graphics are quite good with a cartoon style and with a powerful game engine that wont allow frame rate drops.
The gameplay is extremely funny with great levels, funny characters and lots of well designed weapons. The game offers lots of gameplay options from the story to a huge range of multiplayer modes and even challenges, you can even play the story mode with a friend.
For a fps game this one offers a lot of content that is sure to catch the player interest and make him play the game for a long time.
Even today i play this game from time to time its just that good.
To sum it up whether alone or with friends this game is pure fun and everyone should at least try it.

Golgo 13

This anime is about an assassin, it describes his jobs and how he accomplishes them. Not for the faint of heart, it involves at times sex, drugs and of course lots of assassinations. It has 50 episodes two movies and two live action movies.

Plot summary: Golgo 13 a.k.a. Duke Togo a legendary assassin with a one hundred percent success rate, his favorite gun is a customized M-16 rifle. 

The anime is slow paced, most of the time the episodes  only show how Golgo 13 gets the jobs and how he prepares for them. The slow pace might discourage some  but its worth to see how he completes the job after all the preparation. Always in a serious style there is no comedy, most of the episodes are self-contained stories of a forty year long career of golgo 13. The dark atmosphere of this anime makes it something to recommend and watch more than once.

As my first post i chose trigun a western style anime with lots of gunfights and a big guns what more could you want in anime? With 26 episodes and a movie it’s an anime you will enjoin if you like action and some comedy.

Plot summary: The story begins with Vash the stampede “the humanoid typhoon” the bounty worth 60.000.000.000 billion. As you would expect everyone wants to kill him but no one’s sure how he looks like, the rumors assume the worst of him making him out to be the worst inhuman bandit possible. The real Vash his nothing like the rumors witch protect him and keep him anonymous. Meryl Stryfe and Milly Thompson are two agentes of an Insurance company whose job is to follow Vash and make sure he doesn’t do damage to the insured goods of the clients of the company although they don’t have much luck in their endeavor. Other characters appear with time like the gun wielding priest Nicholas D. Wolfwood searching for money for the orphanage he grew up in. Eventually the plot develops showing Vash past and explaining how that world came to be. The comic moments lessen as the story goes forward and the dramatic moments increase, but the action his ever present making this a great anime worth your time.

Plot Summary: Folks, meet Takashi Kamiyama. Enrolled at Cromartie High, where everybody is a delinquent, Kamiyama is apparently the only non-delinquent in the school. Logically, therefore, he must be the toughest in his class - by the rather twisted logic that only a really tough rabbit would lie down with lions. Thus begins a story that parodies every cliché of tough-guy anime that you've ever heard of, and some you haven't. Oh, and Freddie Mercury is in it, too.(taken from anime news network).

 

This show can reach high levels of stupidity and by doing that it can bring you some great moments. The music and animation aren't the strong points of the anime but rather the dialogs and characthers.

Overall a great experience that will be sure to make a good impact in the viewer.

Today i bring you Detroit Metal City, its a short comedy anime with 12 episodes with around 14min each.

Plot Summary: Detroit Metal City (DMC) is a quickly rising independent Death Metal band. They garner fame by performing wild live shows and writing songs filled with hate, violence, and rape. The band is fronted by Sōichi Negishi who takes on the stage name Krauser II. On stage he is a wild-unchained beast. Off-stage he is a tranquil, tender-loving person who enjoys Swedish Pop music. He hates himself as Krauser and his two personalities collide making his private life very difficult.(taken from anime news network).

 

This is without doubt one funny anime, the setting is so messed up as are the characters. 

The animation is far from the best but it manages to be pleasant at least, on the other hand the sound track is quite awesome if you are into heavy music.

Its quite a shame that its so short but it still manage to create some good memories.

Overall its a short anime with a weak animation, but it has a really good soundtrack and its really funny and entertaining. A must see.

Today i bring you Needless which is another one of those animes where the more you yell the stronger you get.
With 24 filled with yelling, fighting, powers, special moves and comedy

Plot Summary: In the near future, mankind has suffered from a Third World War, leaving extreme damage all over and forced mankind to become even more distinct from their species. The world was at chaos and from this chaos comes a new species: “Needless”. The Needless are humans who have contracted a “disease” as humans may call them, and allow them to wield extraordinary powers far superior to any mankind. Their abilities include telekinesis, elemental powers, gravity control, adaptation, radioactive release, and all manners of scientific impossibility.(taken from anime news network)

In terms of animation and soundtrack this show is quite good being above the average and it pleases the viewers senses.

The story is nothing over the top but it does it job and keeps the show interesting. The action and abilities are quite good and the comedy bits are able to atleast put a smile in the face.

Overall a good and entertaining anime, not one of the best but still a pretty good one for those who like superpowers and yelling=power.

Today i bring you Rune Soldier, it´s a 24 episode adventure, parody, comedy anime that´s sure to bring you a good time.

Plot Summary:

Louie is a mage student of the mage academy, and adoptive son of the director. But still, he sucks at magic. Instead, he has abilities for drinking, flirting and fighting in taverns. One day, he meets a party of girls (a priestess, a warrior and a thief) looking for a mage to join them to open a ruin entrance, but they absolutely rejects him due to his pathetic magic skills. But he refuses to be rejected, and then he tries to join them by force, only to interrupting a sacred ritual of Melissa (the priestess), revealing Louie as her master. Now, as the will of god Miley says, they have no choice but to accept them, and here begins the whole new adventure for this "mage"

Louie, a brawny student at the mage's guild, is reluctantly accepted by three girls (Merrill-thief, Genie-fighter, and Melissa-priestess) as a companion for their adventuring party. As the foursome explore ruins, battle dark creatures, and make new friends, they also uncover a sinister plot within the kingdom.(taken from anime news network).

This one is quite a funny one, since the main hero Louie is mage with a body and mentality of Arnold Schwarzenegger, he simply can´t do anything right. Along with his companions he will get in a lot of messes and misadventures.

In terms of story it´s a simple story but still interesting, the sound track is ok and the animation is quite good.

I found this one to be extremely funny and packed with some good action scenes.

Overall a good anime that is sure to make you laugh specially those who like fantasy rpg´s.

Well when i started to watch this anime i was looking for a light comedy romance anime and at first it looked like one. As i saw the 12 episodes i found myself looking at something that isn't light at all.

Plot Summary: Makoto Ito rides the train to and from school every day. However, at the beginning of his second term, he falls in love with a beautiful girl that also rides the train. Unfortunately, she barely knows of his existence. Her name is Kotonoha Katsura, and though they attend the same school, they are not in the same class. In an attempt to catch her eye, Makoto enlists the aid of a close female friend of his: Sekai Saionji. She helps him, despite the fact that she—unbeknownst to Makoto—is in love with him. Thus the three are bound in a love triangle of life-changing proportions.(Taken from anime news network).

The animation is good and so is the soundtrack.  The story isn't nothing exceptional and its pretty standard but still  enjoyable. There is romance and there is a spice of comedy still this was one of those animes that caught me by surprise to the point it shocked me.

Overall a good animes with great finale. Its one of those animes that you see only for the ending.

Basically this game is like the previous one with some little changes and extras.

The story continues from the end of the first game, and is quite good and it does it job well in keeping the player attention.

The gameplay is the same with the addition of some new units and CO´s. Some CO´s suffered some changes (some nerfed other buffed) and now they have access to two CO powers.

The new CO´s are quite fun and interesting to play expanding the experience of the first game. The new units give you the possibility of new tactics whick is quite fun.

Overall not much changed  but is still a great sequel and it does surpass its predecessor. A must play game for everyone and one of the best games available for the GBA.

When i started seeing this one I dint have great expectations but boy was I so wrong. This is a 26 episode anime that will simply blow your mind not allowing the viewer to leave until they see all episodes.

Plot Summary: Yukiteru Amano (Yuki) is a loner who never really interact with people and prefers writing a diary on his cell phone with his only companion being an imaginary friend named Deus Ex Machina, the God of Time and Space. However, Yuki soon learns that Deus is not a figment of his imagination but real when Deus makes him a participant in a battle royale with eleven others. Within this "Diary Game", the contestants are given special diaries that can predict the future with each diary having unique features that gives them both advantages and disadvantages. Mirai Nikki is action, drama psychology thriller with a superb story and truly amazing characters. I must confess I have seen animes with messed up characters but nothing like some characters of this show, they simply take the meaning of messed up to a whole new level.

The story is just filled with twists and turns that won´t allow the viewer to walk away until the end of the show, basically the surprises never end until the very end of the serie.

The animation is simply amazing specially the expressions, which transmit the feelings of each character in a way that viewer can almost feel their pain, despair and joy, giving the viewer a simply amazing experience.

In terms of sound track, I must say it´s quite good giving another boost to the great experience that is watching this anime.

To sum it up this is without doubt one of the best animes I have seen so far and I simply must recommend it to everyone out there. Simply one of the best anime experiences out there , a truly godlike tier anime.

This third and last game of the castlevania series for the Gba.

In my opinion it´s one of the best Gba available for the system and the best of the three games.

The story follows the same Dracula theme, where this time Dracula is dead but there´s someone trying to inherit his powers. With that our hero is caught in the event and it´s his job to stop it and save his friend which was also caught in this perilous event.  

It follows the same type of gameplay as the previous games being a action adventure game with Rpg elements. In terms of customization the game suffered a great update since your main weapon is not limited to the traditional whip of the series, enabling the player the player to choose their weapon of choice for example sword, spear, knife, axe etc.

The magic system has now a soul system that when you defeat an enemy you have a chance to capture his soul and each soul unlocks a skill. The game has lots of different enemies, so it has a huge number of skills to unlock and use, which allow the player to adapt his own play style quite well. 

The graphics are pretty good and the sound track does it job in setting the mood for the player.

Overall a truly amazing and fun game which everyone should try at least.
